Graphing is a type of math that is helpful. I will be focusing on the line graph. First, when you graph you have to know what you’re graphing. You also need to know what is your x axis and your y axis. For example, let's say if I wanted to graph how many miles I went in an 1 hour. I would put miles as my x axis and hours would be my y axis. Always remember the x axis goes left and right, and the y axis goes up and down. Now, you need to know what numbers it goes by. For example, let’s say I was graphing how much I ran in an hour. I could also do it by 30,60,90. You also have to do the same for the x axis. Since my miles go by 1s my y axis will go by 30s. Therefore, my graph goes by 30s and 1s. Now, you will have to put dots for what you’re graphing. For example, let’s say I ran 2 miles in 90 minutes. I would go to the 2 mark on the x axis and bring it up to the 90 mark on the y axis. Where the two axes meet, is where you put the dot. If that was your only dot, then your done, but I if you put more down connect the dot and see the progress.
